Was privileged to go to Detroit where the original 1964 Aston Martin from the James Bond film “Goldfinger” was temporarily being housed as it needed to be shot and promoted for an epic auction at Sotheby’s in London. We shot some stylized videos of the car and all its working gadgets for a microsite designed to build buzz for the event. This video is a montage of the work, starting with the intro animation and moving into a gadget montage. This video also demonstrates the user interface for the site. We did all videos under the 007 Arsenal section of the site labeled “Microfilm”. The car sold for 4.2 million at the auction and the website won Best Digital Media Microsite at the 2011 Detroit advertising awards “D” Show.
